Municipal Recycling

Paramount have just completed an installation in a state-of-the-art Municipal Recycling Facility in Swanley, Kent. Working with our long-term client Ideal Waste, we have fine tuned the system to provide maximum efficiency with minimum power consumption, minimising the carbon footprint. The system extracts dusts from various points in the segregation process and separates paper content from granulated glass. A separate system to remove plastic bags and film further compliments the system. More pictures to follow....

The latest addition to the long list of successful Paramount systems has just finished commissioning trials. Installed at a leading sugar packaging plant, the new system is proving to be vastly more reliable than its predecessor.

The system was part of a major relocation programme and all coordination and interface tasks were accomplished without a hitch. The system incorporates all the latest ATEX directives.

Paramount back in the Film Industry!

We have recently finished installing a new extraction system at a major manufacturer and processor of packaging films in the UK. The new system replaces the re-winders that were used to collect trim from the production machines, resulting in significant savings in man hours and machine down-time.

Utilising an extremely high precision trim-cutter and static eliminator, the system is proving reliable and cost effective. In fact, this client has decided to have a similar system installed at another factory.

New Product Range

From April 2009, Paramount are rolling out a new product range! Primarily aimed at the fabrication and automotive industries, we have a complete range of fume, dust and exhaust removal components. Available individually or as complete systems, these products offer a very cost effective alternative to the established manufacturers in the UK. All items are manufactured in Europe to the highest possible standards, are CE marked and carry the necessary ATEX certification where needed. Check here for further details.

BGP Bicester

Paramount have recently installed their largest system to date at BGP Bicester. Comprising two separation towers, each feeding a 3-way compactor set, the system handles the entire waste paper production at the site.

We won the order against stiff opposition from all of the well known waste handling companies in the UK.

The system incorporates a total of seven cutter/conveyor fans, serving binderies and six of Paramount's proven AirShredders, which shred rejected copy from the presses.

The total air volume is filtered through a Paramount CA Reverse Jet Filter and then returned to the building to keep heating costs to a minimum.

The majority of the contract took place inside a new building, where Paramount had to liaise closely with the main contractor and coordinate with other services being installed at the time. This was accomplished with the added complication of having to tie in with sections of the existing system and minimising production down-time.
